A good product with some flaw

Pros: It looks good and I didn't pay for it.
Cons: Poor software, not good value
The Bottom Line: If you like the look, buy it, if you need a good PDA avoid!

I'll just write my opinion as there is plenty of techy stuff out there, on the web.
I got my nokia E61 Smartphone as an upgrade from the 'THREE' network.
It developed it's first problem a month after I got it. The power connector in the bottom of the phone kept on ejecting the charging lead after 5-10 mins.
I did a quick search on google and found out this fault was common. I rang 'Three' and they sent a courier to collect the phone, and I put my sim in my old nokia 6680 (Which I was going to put on ebay). I got my handset back after 4-5 working days and this particular fault has not re-appeared.
However, every week or two, the phone 'crashes' and I have to take the battery out and put it back in again.
It's strengths are the keyboard and display, which are excellent. The 'free' or compliamentry software is basically rubish, especially as you discover it's only 'trial' versions.
I have tried the Wifi out with the web browser which although better than the Nokia 9300i which also have, is still pretty useless.
For web browsing it's far too slow, gets confused with clever graphics, flash animation etc etc. It's ok with text orientated web sites, HTML 3.2 or maybe 4.0 but anything clever....you'd be better off in an internet cafe.
If want what a PDA does, then you are really better off with either a SMALL laptop or a proper PDA. It is not a blackberry killer which is a shame.
I bought it to use with a laptop to send out pictures to newspapers. Although it does this job very well it's too slow, like the 9300i and too many useless applications
