Pros: easy to use, plenty of documentation provided, creates many documents

Just finished reading the Legal Manual - wish it could be printed (Reply to this comment)

Thanks for your review. I also purchased the 2009 product and agree with your analysis of why it's better than the 2010 version.

In addition to what you've already covered in your review, I would like to add a comment about documentation. The Willmaker Plus 2009 which I purchased last year at Costco Warehouse did not come with the book you mentioned or indeed any printed documentation. Apparently if I had purchased it instead from Costco.com, I would have received at least the estate planning book.

All the documentation in my version is embedded in the program. While you can easily do quick lookups in both the User's Manual and the Legal Manual while you are in the program, it is not particulary convenient if you want to read either from start to finish, write notes and highlight important passages.

By looking through the install files, I found the User's Manual in a PDF doc (QWP Manual.pdf) which can be printed. The Legal Manual does not seem to be available anywhere as a PDF. I think this is a shortcoming of the product.

Thanks for taking the time to share personally and in detail about this Willmaker. It helped me to understand the use of the additional forms. Also, the amount of time it took you to use the software was a huge plus.
