I purchased the CX 925 from Sears just over a year ago.
The machine is smooth operating at the lower speeds, but when you really get it going, there is a little wobble and some clicking noises. For the price, this is acceptable.
The shortcomings that annoy me, however, relate to the console.I like to read during exercise.
1. The book holder is placed where any reading material blocks the display. In order to see your speed, heart rate, time, etc. you must remove any book or magazine.
2.The depth of the holder is such that it will not hold a paperback book.
3. Any reading material also blocks the fan, so if you read during exercise, you will want a floor fan separately.
4. Also, the heart rate monitor is not accurate and varies a lot (from 120 to 190 in a few seconds on me) Use it only as a very broad guide or purchase a separate monitor.
Suggestions to Nordic Track: There are two cup holders. Perhaps one could be eliminated on future machines and the displays placed along the side. Then deepen the book holder or lower the fan and add a deeper book holder above it.
