| PolishWonder's Full Review: Norman's |
Norman’s is an oasis in dining experiences. The restaurant, itself, is charming and full of atmosphere. There is a very good wine selection, and the sommelier really does a nice job of matching wines to the meal.
Norman’s is all about fusing cooking styles. The restaurant pulls from the rich agricultural options here in South Florida. It also “fuses” cooking styles together to create amazing dishes. The food here is often complex, yielding a multitude of experiences to your taste buds. The visual layout of food is done well, and each course is brought to you in a timely fashion. You’d probably be safe in expecting to pay ~$100.00 per person for dinner. But you’ll be treated to a couple hours of a wonderful dinning experience.
The restaurant is located in Coral Gables, and it has great atmosphere. If you are looking to impress, this is the place to go. You’ll get great service, and very good food.
One specialty that the restaurant offers is a specially designed tasting menu which provides ~ 5 courses. You can also select a matching wine tasting. Norman’s does a nice job of providing you with a unique selection for each course. And while it does not look like you get too much food with each course, in the end you end up with plenty. Sometimes I do wish that I could have more!
