Pros: Alcohol free, minty
Cons: Occasionally sets my tastebuds on fire, a bit of a sting, blue globs
I've hated using mouthwashes because of the terrible sting. When Crest Pro Health Oral Rinse came onto the market, I was intrigued by the product -- a mouthwash that isn't painful? Could it be?
Crest Pro Health Oral Rinse (Refreshing Clean Mint) comes in variety of sizes. I have the 1.5 liter size -- I purchased it from Costco for about $10.

Since I don't like the alcohol burn with a lot of the mouthwashes on the market, I decided to Crest Pro Health Oral Rinse, which is alcohol free.
Crest Pro Health Oral Rinse is packaged in a clear container with a white, screw off cap. The cap can be used as the cup to measure the rinse. I don't like how the packaging feels; the container is a bit flimsy so I pour the rinse into a glass bottle instead.
The mouthwash is to be used after brushing and flossing. It is bright blue and is quite minty. Thankfully it doesn't have that alcohol burn, so I can rinse with this mouthwash for 30 seconds without tears. I wouldn't say that this mouthwash is sting-free though. Sometimes it stings the insides of my cheeks and sometimes it causes havoc on my tastebuds, making them feel like they've been set on fire. It doesn't happen too often but when it does, it is most uncomfortable.
The minty flavor of the mouthwash is nice in that it leaves my mouth feeling minty fresh. When I spit the mouthwash out, sometimes I see chunks of blue globs. I have seen those stuck on my teeth so I rinse my mouth a bit afterwards, even though I don't think you're suppose to rinse after using this mouthwash.
Overall I'm pleased with the Crest Pro Health Oral Rinse (Refreshing Clean Mint). It's a lot less painful than the alcohol based mouthwashes, though don't be fooled into thinking that this mouthwash is completely pain-free because it's not.
Crest Pro Health Oral Rinse leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh.
