Pros: .pdf creation, $30 Rebate
Cons: Limited Templates, cannot copy art discs to hard drive, only opens it's own documents
The Bottom Line: If you already have Serif PagePlus - save your money.

I was looking for a Desktop Publishing program that was a little more professional than The Print Shop or Printmaster. I got tired of the printing problems with The Print Shop and my Canon printers. (I emailed Broderbund support several times but there is no fix.)
So, I thought for $100 I should get a pretty decent Desktop Publishing Program.
What Nova does is combine another companys program with clipart or additional software, rename it and sell it under Nova Development.
I searched the web prior to purchasing to try and find out what program they used in Publisher Pro. I could not find this information.
I went ahead and purchased anyway. I was disappointed to find out that the program they use is Serif PagePlus, which I already have. They combined PagePlus (Not sure what version, but I believe it is version 8.) with some additional templates and clipart.
The templates are very limited, they don't include a template for File Folder Labels, which I use alot. And I wanted to install all the clipart to my hard drive so that I would not have to swap CDs. After contacting Nova Tech. Support I was told that this was not an option.
If you don't already have PagePlus you still might like this program. It is the .pdf version and does really well at putting together a slim .pdf document. I put together a Christmas Recipe book that came out nice.
So I will be sticking with The Print Shop until I can find something better.
