Pros: Cleans like it says it will, leaves you feeling fresh
Cons: N/A for me
Ever since I can remember Noxzema has always been in my parents home. It was the one reliable thing that my mother used and as I started getting older and experiencing break outs and wearing make-up I eventually ended up trying it and liking how it worked too. Now before I took over my mother's Noxzema :) I had tried things like Sea Breeze (which I don't recommend using unless you love the feeling of your flesh burning all around you is this stuff still even around??) and regular soap and water. And we all know what soap does to our skin (dries it out badly)!.
I still use Noxzema in my own home when I'm in the shower and so does my husband! He has had skin problems (clogged pores) ever since I can remember and Noxzema seems to help his skin tremendously (I think he may use this more then I do:)). There are not as many out breaks as there used to be and he has commented that he likes the fact this is not a "girlie" product to him (i.e.; all my feminine smelling body washes and perfume lotions:)).
Noxzema works on any type of skin, I have an oily/dry combo and my husband has oily skin (aren't my children blessed?). Noxzema has proven to be effective on my skin without making me break out in little red blotch spots (which has happened in the past) or making my skin feel tight and on my husband (as I stated above) his out breaks are less and less and his skin does not get flaky or tight either.
Noxzema is water based so it is great for most people with sensitive skin and it removes oil, dirt and make up easily from your face, unlike some other face cleansers, that leave your skin feeling sticky or slimy, Noxzema leaves your face feeling fresh, clean and soft. This product washes right off with ease and comfort without you feeling like you are pulling off your skin or doing any rough scrubbing.
Noxzema always has a slight medicine smell to it, that is especially strong when you open the container (from the Menthol), but that does not linger long and you don't walk around smelling like it either.
Water, Stearic Acid, Linseed Oil, Soybean Oil, Fragrance, Ammonium Hydroxide, Camphor, Menthol, Eucalyptus Oil, Propylene Glycol, Gelatin, Calcium Hydroxide
