meltedmama's Full Review: Nuby Variable Flow Non Drip Nipples 6 Pack
These Variable Flow Non-Drip Nuby Nipples suck. Go to: http://www.luvncare.com/ to see more, or to complain, would you? I bought a six-pack to go along with some of the Nuby bottles I picked up at the same time at the store. I saw the "NON-DRIP" on the label, and got excited. Non-drip equals less laundry, right?! Not so. Not only did they leak with use on the matching Nuby bottles, my infant daughter cannot figure out how to get the milk OUT of the nipple, and got exceedingly frustrated about it.
BUT - the packaging promised:
~Teething Nubs to massage your infants gums. (And, on the Luv'n'Care website, they're called "gently dimpled, to soothe." and "naturally shaped, like the breast." Um, not so much.)
~Anti-Colic Air System to prevent air intake causing Colic.
~Vari-Flo Valve that lets your infant control how fast the liquid comes out.
~Silicone non-drip nipples to prevent drips and spills.
After a few unsuccessful attempts at feeding with these nipples, I tossed them all into the dishwasher basket, and figured I'd give them away to someone else with an older baby - or - I don't know, throw them out, eventually. I should have just thrown them out, because, in ONE WASH CYCLE, two of the nipples became cracked and got a hole. If I hadn't noticed this - my child might have had a serious choking risk. You better believe the Nuby nips went into the trash, right then and there.
