inlovewithcats's Full Review: Nutro MAX Dry Kitten Food
Joey is my black/white medium-haired boy who is years old. Sabrina is my tortie who is 5 years old. Toby is my tabby who is 4 years old. They are all different ages and sizes. My oldest is lean and long, he is not fat. Just the avearge size. My little girl is a little overweight. The tabby is obese, he needs more fibre in his diet so he will get fuller faster and won't eat as much.
I try to away from store brand kibbles, they aren't healthy for cats. Yellow corn in kibbles are good, they aren't any benefit to the cats. It just passes through there bodies and goes right in there stool. A few times I got a free coupon for purina one adult food I use to the coupon to get the free bag. I wanted to try them to see if my cats would like them. It had yogurt in it. I don't think they we're too keen on them. I didn't care too much because I got it for free. I usually stick to a few brands. I don't like to keep switching brands, it is harder for some cats to get use to the new kibbles.
I want to feed my kitties the healthies food there is and that is good for them. I brought Solid Gold a few times in the shiny purple bag which looks soo attracted. It is Holistic food which I thought would be really good for my little guys. The first time I ever brought it, they wen't crazy for it. The kibble size was perfect, it was nice and small. It was easy for my Sabrina to pick-up the piece to eat. Now I don't think they are to crazy for them. They are getting sick of eating them. I put it in there dishes and they don't go over to eat right away.
The Max food and my cats
I found a brand that all my babies love. One time I got a free bag from the Global pet store. It had a big hole in it and they don't usually send the kibbles back to the company. My cats we're very please and they thank me for it. They we're all happy. All of them we're enjoying the kibbles and could stop eating them. I brought Max kibbles the next time, it was the salmon flavor. The Global pet store is where I buy my kibbles. I get a discount there. It cost me $16 dollars for the medium size bag, I get 10% or 15% the food. Nutro Max is there favorite food and I will keep on buying it for them until they get sick of Max.
How they reacted to the Max kibbles?
I filled dishes up with the kibbles two times a day, one in the morning and the second time in the evening. I put three spoonfull of kibbles in each of the bowls, for the three of them. I will tell you that it doesn't last long in there bowls, that is how good it is. I put the food down and all of them go right over to the dish. When they hear me put it in the dish, they come running over. They have good hearing. I have notice the health and the coats of my cats is shiny and soft since I'm feeding them the Max kibbles. It didn't take them long to get use to it, they we're eating right away even my Sabrina. She is very fussy at what she eats, it takes her longer to get use to the new kibbles but not with Max. They didn't like the Nutro Max moist food but they love the dry food.
Final thought: The shape of the kibbles is kind of like a square with a donut hole in the middle. It gives the cats time to chew. I will recommend this dry food to every pet owner who is look for a good kibbles.
