| jenni796's Full Review: Hewlett Packard OfficeJet t45 All-In-One InkJet Pr... |
I bought an HP Officejet for my husband's business and I love it. I wanted an 'all in one' machine because I don't have enough desk space for each separate machine. There are so many features and benefits that I will just list some of the most useful ones that I use frequently. It is very efficient in many ways:
-It is easy to set up, the software is self explanatory and no directions were needed to unpack, plug in, and get started.
-The instruction booklet was very easy to read and understand the basic setup instructions such as setting time, date, etc. As well as how to load paper and start faxing, copying, and printing.
-The scanner feature did take a little more reading to understand but was overall much easier than any other scanner that I have tried to figure out.
-The price is great! A copier alone would have cost almost as much as my HP Officejet.
-The black and white print quality is excellent. Never any streaks or blotches, even when the ink cartridge is low.
-It is an unbelievable space saver! I have my HP Officejet sitting on a t.v. table in the corner. I would have needed an entire desk to put a fax machine, printer, scanner, and copier on. It only uses one power outlet, if I had gotten separate machines, I would have had to have more outlets added to my office. Not to mention all of the power cords to the outlets and to my computer which would have been another big mess.
-It has a good amount of memory. If you run out of paper or ink, it can store over 5 pages in the memory to print once you add paper or ink.
-Extremely easy to use. My husband who has never touched any office machines can easily operate all of the features of this machine. I only showed him one time how to copy, fax, print, and scan and he is now a pro at using the HP Officejet.
- I have never had a problem with paper jams or malfunctions with the HP Officejet.
Cons:
-The price for ink cartridges is very high for this HP product but still much cheaper than toner for a regular copier.
-I sometimes get loud squeaking noises from the printer when it is printing. I think something just needs to be adjusted but as long as it seems to be working fine, I will leave it alone.
-Copier feature is slow. Great for one or two copies but this machine would not do well if you need a copier to make more than a few copies a day.
I highly recommend an Officejet to anyone with a home office even avid computer users. I never thought I would really need all of the features that this machine offers but I have used all of them at one time or another.
