It is very frustrating trying to find helpful, moisturizing, wonderful beauty products when you are allergic to a lot of the ingredients in the non-sensitive skin products. I have tried the Oil of Olay regular Hydrating Beauty Fluid and it was fantastic, except I was allergic to the product, and broke out in a rash (on my hands). I really liked in particular the richness of the formula, and the UV Protectant, but the allergic reaction of course deterred me from purchasing it again.
A little history:
When I was a teenager I was burdened with oily skin that tended to break out. I am now over 40 and almost, yes, almost want to get that oily skin back. Not quite, I didn 't enjoy the self-consciousness of the blemish problem. But I do search for products that will make my skin feel soft, reasonably moist without oiliness, and without the allergic reaction which I have either on my face or on my hands with the application.
Why I looked for Oil of Olay:
I have always trusted the Oil of Olay name, even though I remember rolling my eyes at the "old ladies" in line at the drug store clutching desperately to their latest purchase of Oil of Olay. Well, guess what, I am there now. . .
Packaging:
The Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid comes in a 4 oz and 6 oz size squeezable plastic bottle. I have purchased both the regular which I may review in the future, and the sensitive skin formula version, reviewed in this article. I find this product absolutely wonderful, and I do not have any allergic reaction to this product either on my face or hands.

How I apply it:
I apply it each night after washing my face. I put a small dab on my hands and rub it into my face. It has a light feel to it, not oily and I don't have to use a huge amount to feel I am covering my face totally. I also apply it to my neck as I don't want if I can avoid it) to have a lizard neck as I age. The scent is pleasing to me, and absolutely not off-putting as I personally find with the Neutrogena products.
Pros:
I love the way the Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid provides needed moisture and seems to mask lines. The smell is very subtle and the fragrance is appealing. It is easy to find in almost any drug store or grocery store. While the price isn't inexpensive at approximately $11.00 (epinions notes it is $6.00 but I haven't been that lucky here in Southern California), it is less expensive than some department store products which are comparable. It is easy to apply and not messy.
Cons:
There are no cons other than the cost locally, and the fact that there is not UV Protectant in the sensitive skin version.
Results:
I have used this product for over five years now, and have been very pleased with the softness, moistness of my skin, lack of visible lines on my face. People frequently tell me I look young for my age, and that may be flattery (yes I paid them a small pittance to say that), may be good genes, or may be in part at least, to the Oil Of Olay Sensitive Skin active Hydrating Beauty Fluid.
Final Thoughts:
I enjoy Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid, and feel that having used it the last several years, that I look fairly young and well-preserved in spite of my advanced, geezerly age. It reduces fine lines, and makes my skin feel much softer. I enjoy the subtle scent, and it does not have a greasy feel to it. It has totally alleviated the dry feel my face used to have. I have used this product in the regular formula, and it is the best way to go if you don't have any allergies. If you break out from various allergens, have problems with fragrance, I suggest you purchase this sensitive skin formula.
Oil of Olay has a website which is located at http://www.olay.com/samplesdirect.html. You can request one of several samples of their products. I am going to request one myself, but I am having trouble deciding which one I want! It is easy to find at most drug stores.
I highly recommend the Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid for those with allergies.
