Pros: Cleans skin well
Cons: Smell, Cheap "cloth", Difficult to rinse off if following instructions
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product. I was not at all pleased with these cloths, and will not use them again unless they are changed and improved. Very disappointed.

| shantel575's Full Review: Olay Daily Facials |
I'm always up to trying a new product, and Olay Daily Facials are newcomers to the world of skincare. So, I heartily jumped on the bandwagon and gave them a try. Too bad to say I was not impressed. I will give the folks at Oil of Olay the compliment of having a great idea, but the product itself could use some work.
What Are Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths?
These cloths come in a plastic box and they are just dry, folded cloths when you get them. You take one from the package and first you moisten it with a bit of water. After you moisten the cloth, you rub it around until it lathers. I had a difficult time finding any lather in my cloths though. Then you use the cloth to cleanse your face, preferably in a circular motion. After you are finished cleansing, you are instructed to use the cloth to rinse your face. I didn't like this because I felt I was just adding more cleanser to my face rather than rinsing the existing cleanser off my skin, so I ended up rinsing my face without using the cloths. Then you throw the cloth away.
The cloths come in 2 formulas: one for Normal/Dry skin and one for Normal/Oily skin.
What's The Purpose Of Daily Facials?
These cloths are supposed to be a revolution in skincare, but I am not impressed. Olay claims that using these cloths will cleanse, exfoliate and condition your skin...thus giving you better looking skin over time and use of these cloths. Though the cloths did remove all my makeup, I had a few other dislikes with this product.
My Opinion On Olay's Facials
As previously stated, I didn't particularly care for this product. I'll start with the good, well the only good thing I should say...the cloths do clean your skin/face well. They removed all my makeup without a trace. Now on to my dislikes: first of all, I didn't like the odor of the cloths. They smelled "old" or something. I can't describe it, but the smell was not pleasant. Secondly, where's the so-called "lather"?? My cloths did not lather. I'd get a few bubbles at the first moistening, but then nothing. My cloths were just flimsy, cheap, wet and a bit soapy feeling. The cloths are very cheap feeling too. Now I know with a one time only product, Olay isn't going to spend bundles of money, but these cloths are pretty ragged in my opinion. But I guess they serve their purpose....one time use. Another dislike I had was the rinsing instructions. The packet tells you to use the cloth to rinse your face as well after you have used it to cleanse. Well, first of all, all the dirt and makeup is on the cloth, so why put it back on my face?? And also, I felt like I was putting more cleanser/soap onto my face by using the cloth to rinse. If Olay wanted us to leave some of the cleanser on our face, then why rinse at all??
So, there are my several reasons for not liking this product. Other than thoroughly removing my makeup, I wasn't impressed with the Olay Daily Facials at all. I'll just stick with my regular cleanser and washcloth from now on. If they change or improve this product, I may give it another try. Until then, goodbye Olay Daily Facials.
Recommendation and Purchasing
As you should well know by now, I do not recommend this product. But if you insist on trying it, you can purchase these facial cloths at any drugstore or Wal-Mart type store. They can also get pretty expensive at $5.00 a package, especially since you use at least one a day.
