Let's "Face it"...Olay has made a name when it comes to anti-aging creams. It seems every few month or so they are releasing a new product. A few months ago I received a very small sample tube from Olay and decided to give it a try.

First Try

My first thought was how silky the cream felt in my hands. It was soft and not thick or oily. It had a fresh smell to it, not a heavy fragrance as many creams have today. It went on smoothly and disappeared into my skin a few minutes later. I was impressed because under my eyes looked brighter, more hydrated is a better word, and they felt really good, like I had just got a botox shot (not that I ever had but for the sake of comparing). There was a tingling as if I had placed mint on my face.

A Few Hours Later

I checked my face a few hours later, half expecting to see an oily face as all the other facial creams do to me. I looked in the mirror and noticed that the dark areas under my eyes had lightened. This may have been my imagination but because I use makeup everyday I am prone to getting the darkness under the eyes. There was no oil on my face and my skin was still very soft. The lotion lasted approximately 6 hours before I noticed it was gone.

The "Big" Purchase!

Now, I am not one to run out and buy every cream made; nor have I ever been one to worry about their complexion but I ain't getting any younger here and decided I had to have this one. I did some research and figured that since it was fairly new, that the price was going to be high but I never thought close to $30.00 high! So I went to my trusty eBay and purchased for around $20.00 and shipping. I didn't pay attention to any details when purchasing, like how many ounces am I getting or what the case looked like; I just purchased.

The mail Delivery Day

The mailman brought my cream and all was well. I opened the box and to my surprise the package was larger than I thought. Olay did a great job in packaging with one of those "try and get me out if you can" packages. So after ripping open with my teeth and finally getting to the actual product....I was just in awe! My first thought was such a tiny jar that was used to hold this great cream. The bottle that held the cream was as small as a salt/pepper shaker and the front read 1.7 oz (50g). Olay Definity highly defined anti-aging intense hydrating cream...how they were able to fit all that on there beats me! So I open the container and see the cream. At first sight the cream was all the way to the top until I stuck my finger in there. It was like poking bread after the rising stage....the entire cream went to the bottom. I was not too pleased and was thinking; I probably got more cream from the sample.

How Long Can That Possibly Last?

Well, fortunately, only a small amount is used per application...a pea size to be exact, so the cream has lasted me a good month with plenty to spare.

Do I recommend?

I will re-order before it runs out and I have highly recommended it to all of my friends but I told them to wait until the price goes down. It's just not worth $30.00 or $20.00 when the price will drop dramatically in 2 months! It is an awesome cream but not worth that kind of money.
