The Bottom Line: This is a great product to have in your shower basket. It eliminates the task of after shower/bath lotion application.

| 42ENGLISH's Full Review: Olay Moisturinse In Shower Body Lotion |
As you probably know by now, I like to take long hot baths and long hot showers and I like to come out of the bathroom smelling and feeling good. I am constantly buying bath and body products. Olay Moisturinse In Shower Body Lotion for extra dry skin was a product which really got my attention; a lotion that can be applied in the shower before you dry. Well, I had to put this one to the test so I bought it for $3.75 at my local Wal-Mart.
This product comes in an 8.4 fl oz plastic, pearl and purple bottle with an inverted flip off cap. The product itself is white and creamy and the scent is divine; a fresh, ever so faint flowery scent.
Olay’s Claim:
Replace your ordinary lotion with a revolutionary rinse-off body lotion. Olay Moisturinse works with the warmth and humidity of your shower to reveal soft, smooth skin after one use. Daily use will improve hydration of skin in 5 days.
Ingredients:
Water, petrolatum, glycerin, dimethicone, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, fragrance, cetyl hydroxyethylcellulose, stearmidopropyl dimethylamine, dimethiconol, DMDM hydantoin, glutamic acid, disodium EDTA, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, phenoxyethanol, montmorillonite
My experience:
After washing and rinsing in a hot shower, I started to apply Olay Moisturinse In Shower Body Lotion. I made the mistake of staying under the shower nozzle at first and the lotion just washed right off. After realizing my mistake, I stepped back and applied it to my whole body. It was a little slippery at first and didn’t adhere to the skin but as the water on my skin dried a little it started to smooth on easier. My skin felt sensationally soft and the scent of this lotion is heavenly. I decided to leave it on for a few moments before rinsing. I couldn’t see it having much effect otherwise.
I can honestly say I have never come out of the shower feeling so soft and pampered and smelling so divine. No, I didn’t have to apply lotion after my shower. My skin already felt like it was moisturized and stayed that way until the next day. Not until my next shower but most of the day.
In Conclusion:
This lotion has a place in my shower basket now. I was very pleased with its moisturizing qualities and its scent. It wasn’t very expensive, yet it made my skin feel
very soft and silky in an expensive way. It is easy to use in the shower and does not leave any residue. It is also a great product to use when you are in a hurry and don’t have time to separately moisturize. A great product.
Olay now has the same product for sensitive skin.
