Pros: Applying this in the shower makes it easy to use.
Cons: I wish there were an unscented version for customers who are perfume-averse.
The Bottom Line: I would suggest this to anyone. It's a terrific product for dry skin, but a nice "boost" for normal skin, too.

| pwillow1's Full Review: Olay Moisturinse In Shower Body Lotion |
I had a major case of dry skin this past winter. My upper arms were so dry they felt like parchment... and nothing helped, not even cocoa butter lotion applied multiple times a day, or body oil applied after a shower.
I got a free sample bottle of this Moisturinse and decided to try it. I really liked the concept of being able to put it on in the shower when my skin was wet, because applying regular body lotion after a shower always ends up making my skin feel sticky or cold or greasy. I wondered, though, how effective a moisturizing product could be if this was something that was supposed to be rinsed off after applying.
The first time I used this, I noticed that it went on easily -- it just glided over my wet skin. It smelled nice, too. And oddly enough, I could feel the moisture clinging to my skin, even after rinsing off like the instructions said to do.
I noticed immediately that my skin felt nice and moisturized even a few hours after a shower. And the dry skin on my upper arms felt different, too. Within days, the dry, parchment-like skin on my upper arms was gone completely. GONE. COMPLETELY.
After using this in the shower, my skin feels pampered for the rest of the day. The light floral scent doesn't linger on my skin, but it does make the experience of applying it a pleasant one.
The bottle does contain the standard caution about how moisturizing products can make your shower slippery, but I did not notice this in my tub/shower. And I like the idea that the bottle stands upside down on the cap, which means I don't have to shake out the last little bit.
I have used both kinds of Moisturinse, the pink one for regular skin and the purple one for dry. I like the purple one better. That lotion is a little more liquid and my skin feels more moisturized. But both are excellent products.
I love this product, and am amazed at how moisturized my skin feels after using it.
I recommended this to my mother (she's 75) when she told me that she was having problems with very dry skin in the wintertime. She is now a fan of Moisturinse, too.
