Olay Regenerist Night Treatment does hydrate but mini-lift, forget it.

Cons: It moistened and hydrated my skin but I didn't get the results I expected.
The Bottom Line: Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment isn't a miracle product. It does hydrate and improve skin, like most moisturizers.

I was really happy to receive a sample of Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment, and couldn't wait to try it. The only problem was that the 7g (0.24 ounce) tube only lasted about a week, and I couldn't decide on whether it was working for me. So I decided to buy a jar, and was lucky enough to get it, when it had $3 off the retail price, and I also had a $1 coupon too. The final price was around $8-$9.
I do like the prices of Olay products as they are not cheap, but certainly are in most people's price range. The jar contains 1.7 ounces (48 grams) of night cream/treatment. The jar is a lilac/lavender color with a black top. It is very pretty. Upon opening it you can smell the delicate floral fragrance, which is pleasing to me. The cream looks thick, but once I dipped the top of my fingers in it, it really wasn't. It is almost opaque to look at. I applied it on my face and it rubbed in so easily. When I touched my face it wasn't greasy, just smooth and moist.
When I got up, in the morning, my face did still feel hydrated, but I couldn't see any improvement. As I mentioned, I used up the sample tube, and was still undecided as to whether it really worked. I checked the wrinkles and lines but they were still in full view.
I do try to protect my skin during the day, especially from the sun, here in Florida. This also should help to keep down the wrinkles. What I wanted was the 'Mini-lift' in the morning, but this just didn't happen for me.

I didn't give up on this product. I continued trying it for a month, after doing my normal nightly cleansing. My skin did feel good, had moisture, and wasn't greasy, but I never got that 'mini lift' which I would have expected from the 'Recovery Moisturizing Treatment'. My skin has pretty much stayed the same, so perhaps it might have helped a fraction, over a basic night cream. If this product is as cheap as other products then I may purchase it again, but if I get a good quality night cream cheaper, then I will go for that one.
The one good thing about the Olay Regenerist products is that they do not dry my skin, or give me small red marks under my eyes. Other anti-aging/wrinkle creams have done this, and I have had to discontinue them.
