While I'm still battling oily, acne prone skin for the most part even though I'm well into my thirties now, the tender thin skin around my eye area is beginning to show my true age. So every day and night, I lather moisturizing creams and gels to this area to keep help prevent new wrinkles while making the ones I do have look less pronounced as well. I'm always looking for new eye care products to try, from the inexpensive drugstore choices to the more costly department store brands. So when I saw that this relatively new Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatment claimed to restore younger looking skin in your most aging-prone zones, my curiosity was definitely peaked. At about $18 for a one ounce tube, this anti-aging skin care product is far from cheap, especially since a separate moisturizer must also be used, but I was more than ready to give it a shot. For I'd had great results from other Olay products in the past and was very confident that I would not be disappointed. Read on to find out more about this effective skin care treatment.

Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatment exclusively containing Pro-Retinol and VitaNiacin (Vitamin B3 + Vitamin E + Pro-Vitamin B5) is a concentrated skin care product that helps fight past damage in your most aging-prone areas for visibly younger looking skin. It is designed to be used on either all or only parts of the face, depending on where you need it most. For me, the eyes are the only area I need help with wrinkle control (yet!), so their claims that this treatment evens skin tone and diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles are certainly right on the mark so far when used on this part of my face. Since I'm oily every where else, I can't vouch for how effective this creamy treatment works on other areas, but this product is advertised to soften frown and laugh lines around the mouth, smooth the look of expression lines on the forehead, and to even skin tone and diminish the appearance of age spots, pores, and blotches on the cheeks. According to their claims, this Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatment is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), fragrance and color free, oil-free, fast absorbing, begins working immediately, and provides visible results after just four weeks of use. So as you can see, this skin care product has lots to offer without causing any annoying side effects.

Each 1.01 (30ml) slender black tube of this Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatment may be purchased at most drug and discount store, such as Wal-Mart for about $17.87, or online at www.drugstore.com for $19.99. This is definitely more than what I'm used to spending for a drugstore product, but it's still much cheaper than spending anywhere from $40 to $80 for similar department store choices! Elegantly trimmed with gold and resting upright upon its screw-on lid, the creamy skin care product found inside is actually white in color, but it glides on clear as it absorbs almost instantly. The cardboard packaging itself contains all the ingredients and directions for use, so hang on to that for future reference just in case. I've been using my Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatment around my eye area for a good six weeks or more now and I still have plenty of this product left. So a little bit sure does go a long way for the purpose I use mine for. Those using it all over the face will surely use more over time and will need to replace the tube more often.
~~~Directions for Use~~~
According to the packaging directions, apply Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatmentmorning or evening, to clean, dry skin. Smooth onto troubled areas (fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and age spots). Follow with a moisturizer. Recommended for use with Olay Total Effects Moisturizing Vitamin Complex. My "troubled area" is the tender, wrinkle prone skin under my eyes, so that's what gets the most attention. All I do is gently dab a tiny dot of this concentrated cream to this area with my fingertips. After allowing this treatment to absorb fully during for day wear, I'll apply a moisturizer before finally using my foundation. I also use it at night before bedtime as well for overnight anti-aging protection, but so far I've not tried the Olay Total Effects Moisturizing Vitamin Complex as recommended above, although I DO have a $2 off coupon for this product I'm itching to redeem! For now, I've been using a few of my Origins moisturizers instead as well as the Olay Age Defying Revitalizing Eye Gel after applying this Olay Total Effects Intensive Restoration Treatment and I've noticed a big difference in how much smaller my wrinkles look already as well as how much smoother and firmer the skin under my eyes are looking and feeling, too.
If irritation develops or persists, use less frequently or discontinue altogether. Do not use on eyelids or get into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Recommended for use with an SPF moisturizer.
***I wear contact lenses and consider myself to have "senstive eyes", but so far I've had no problems with this treatment accidentally getting into my eyes and causing any irritation.
