Pros: Healthy ingredients, acceptable prices.
Cons: Darla will eat them, but is not with gusto.
The Bottom Line: This is a reasonably priced treat with healthy ingredients. Darla, the Wonder Dog, however doesn't seem to care too much for them.

Hi! Hi! Hi! Darla, here (Jack Russell Terrier and foster child to 4paws). Foster Mom 4paws (heretofore known as “fm4 “) bought a surprise a couple of weeks ago. When fm4 pulled up to the store, strangely called “Heart Your Pet” (the heart was not a actual word but a shape), all sorts of strange and wondrous aromas wafted in the air. Walking through those magical doors that opened by themselves…spooky, the aromas were so intense it was really difficult to keep all four feet on the floor. There was an odd sensation of being pulled, as if magnetically, into every new “nook and cranny”. There was a constant pull from fm4 in the direction of Old Mother Hubbard Extra Tasty Bac 'N' Cheez Basted Dog Biscuits. Oh, what a heavenly aroma. Then fm4 began to read the bag out loud.

Then, with a satisfied look fm4 took the bag to the front (a little to close to the spooky doors) and, oh, no, she gave them to the lady on the other side of the wall. Not only that, but she took some other treats and handed them to the lady also. It’s impossible not to whine as the treats are all given away. Then, a miracle! There was a bunch of “ching” noises and a final big “ca ching” noise and the lady handed all the treats back to fm4 with the smell of bacon seeping through the bag. Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! Wait, what now? Oh, no, we’re going back through the spooky door. Whew! Just made it and got into the car to go back home. What’s this? Mom put one of the second treats (that she had handed to the lady behind the wall) in the seat of the car, mmmmmmmm. It’s chewy and hard, fm4 called it “rawhide”. This is fun.
Upon arriving at home, fm4 pulled out the bag and handed over two bone shaped treats. Licking them was first in order as the taste is “basted” on. Then, they need to be guarded before they could actually be eaten. That takes about an hour or two. Ok, it must be past dinnertime, stomach’s growling. Never mind, it’s time to eat the “bones”. Hmmm, unusual flavor this is….but tasty, but actually nothing really to get that excited about. Ok, they’re gone now, where’s dinner? Those bones will do in a pinch, but certainly won’t make the Top Ten Favorite Treats here. Thanks , anyway for trying.
Special Note:
Hi! Hi! Hi! Darla here again. Just thought you should know that fm4 said some things you might like to know. She said the color comes off these 2” bones if they are wet. Not too bad, but she like’s for them to be eaten over the tile floor. She also keeps saying, these are just a treat and should be eaten along with the doctor recommended diet. She won’t allow too many in one day because she says, “You can‘t have too many in one day without balancing it with your diet, because you don‘t need to get fat“. It feels so good to be loved.
ERROR
Annie said I made an ERROR in the next to the last paragraph. Twice. I allowed Darla to reference me “Mom” and while I would like to dispute that, it was just easier to remove the word Mom. The interesting thing is that I just removed it and it wasn’t necessary to rephrase either sentence.
