| cbarker's Full Review: Olympus Camedia C-700 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera |
I bought this camera as a refurbished unit through Amazon.com. I use my camera daily and routinely shoot 50-150 pics a day. My photos are not artistic, but rather technical in nature. I have to provide insurance companies with detailed photos of damage, close ups and wide angles as well.
My photos range from interior shots in houses that have been burned out with no electricity or lighting (Very dark) and exterior and roof shots where there is almost blinding sun. This camera does great in all areas.
I have never had any issue in using my camera and highly recommend it to anyone.
I did purchase an external rechargeable battery pack that mounts on the bottom where the tripod mounts for hours of shooting without any battery cost. I recommend this if you plan on using the screen to shoot instead of the viewfinder.
The only drawback I have found is that there is no way to mount a neckstrap that holds the camera on both sides. The wrist strap makes it difficult to use when climbing a ladder. I used a separate handle mount so I can attach a neckstrap.
Overall, after literally tens of thousands of pics, I recommend this camera to anyone.
