Great Job! (Reply to this comment)
by Mom2TyZick
My digital camera makes terrible pictures, and I truly thought that was just a quality the cameras had. Next time around, I believe I'll consider this one!
Thanks for the great job, as usual!

Sorry I left out optical; I placed it in there!
To answer you’re other question! (All cameras have viewfinders.) NO THEY DO NOT! You better check around because there are a few out there that only have an LCD and no optical viewfinder. (Example Casio QV-2300UX, Sony DSC-F55)
AND YES! I have used this camera!

Confusing explanation (Reply to this comment)
by HOWLer
You say
"You have a viewfinder to view your subjects in on, this saves on battery power when you have the LCD turned off."
All cameras have viewfinders. Does this camera have an optical viewfinder or an electronic viewfinder? Does the viewfinder zoom with the lens?
It doesn't appear from your review that you have ever used this camera.

Was this rewritten from a website or camera magazine review? (Reply to this comment)

It doesn't sound as if you have any actual experience with this camera. Your review does a reasonably good job of summing up the statistics and facts that could have been found on any number of audio-video websites but it would have been far more valuable to hear how the camera works. Your personal experiences, if any, would have been a lot more helpful than just listing specifications. Are all or most of the controls in menus like most Olympus digital cameras? How does the C4040 measure up against other 4 mgpxl cameras in shutter lag and write times? What about battery life? How many pictures before you run out of juice? Where did you see the camera listed for $600 and was that for a U. S. model or a gray market camera with no U. S. warranty?
