Why buy a 2 year old camera? I keep up with all of the latest releases of digital cameras. They reason I bought a C-5050 is because of the F1.8 lens. This camera produces bright, clear, sharp photos that PC magazine rates as being of outstanding quality. I own a Nikon D70, that is my sunday camera. When I want to photograph a building or a waterfall, I use the Nikon. But if I am photographing people, I use my Olympus work horse cameras. I own a C-5050 and a C-750. One is a wide angle lens, the other is a telephoto lens. The add ons are fully interchangeable between these two cameras. The C-5050 has the advantage of a F1.8 lens, so I can use it early in the morning, late in the day, and I always come up with bright, clear photos. I take my Olympus cameras out in a light rain, I do not worry about the weather, I do not worry about the dust. They are a well built camera and they are my work horse cameras. They will last long beyond what I need them for, because in two or three years time, Olympus will be coming out with better cameras that I am sure I will buy.
