This point and shoot camera takes beautiful photos in daylight, and I love the feel of it ergonomically speaking. However, the flash is very irritating because it will work fine for a few photos, and then it starts making a sizzling sound while it's trying to flash, and the flash becomes annoyingly bright and audibly noisy. The camera will not take the picture while it's doing this so it makes it completely undependable for flash photography. I've tried using it to shoot play rehearsals and small musical concerts and it was good for the first 4 or 5 photos, but then failed me after that. Those first photos from close range came out well, but not those from more than 5 feet away.
I've had this camera for about 4 years now and overall am pleased with it. Maybe the flash problem was a defect in my camera, but I waited too long to contact Olympus to find out. If this is the case, then my review would be unjust. But I did read another review in here that commented on the annoying flash problem.
