All of Omaha Steaks products are frozen and come in cardboard boxes. The stuffed baked potatoes come in 3 sizes a box of 4, 6, or 8. Since I tried the box of four, I decided to purchase the box of 8. The box of 8 retails for $19.99 but can be purchased on special (usually $12.99 or $14.99). The stuffed baked potato is a real Idaho potato with the inside scraped out (some still remains) and potato, sour cream, aged cheddar cheese, bacon, and chives piped into the potato. Not only does it look nice, but also they taste amazing!
You can bake, grill, or microwave these potatoes. You do not thaw them in any method.
If you decide to bake : Preheat your oven to 350°F. Remove the potato from the package. Place the potato on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 40 minutes, until heated through and lightly browned.
If you decide to grill: Preheat the grill. Remove the potato from the cellophane package. Place frozen potatoes on a sheet of aluminum foil. Wrap foil around potatoes, leaving top half exposed. Grill on medium-high heat. Cook with grill lid down for 35-45 minutes.
If you decide to microwave: Remove the potato from wrap. Place one frozen potato on microwave safe dish. Cook on high for 2 ˝ - 4 minutes rotating at half way point. To cook two potatoes, increase cooking time to 4-6 minutes.
I have tried the bake and microwave methods of cooking these stuffed baked potatoes and I highly recommend that you bake them. When you bake them, it is a lot easier to get the rest of the potato off of the skin. If you microwave the potato, it will not heat all the way through. You will not be able to get every ounce of potato off of the skin.
Each potato is 280 calories. Total fat is 15 grams, 8 of which are saturated. Cholesterol is 40 mg, sodium is 400 mg, total carbohydrates are 27 g and protein is 9 grams.
These stuffed baked potatoes are not very heart healthy or natural.

What I think
I think that the stuffed baked potatoes are delicious. They have a good presentation of the filling being piped into the potato. They are really creamy, have a great taste of potato, sour cream, cheese and bacon. One of these potatoes is really filling and is great with a steak. The potato tastes really good even the skin is good enough to eat. You can definitely taste all of the components too the potato, sour cream, cheese and bacon. It seems like you are taking a potato and dipping them into each component.
I think that this is an inexpensive way to get a stuffed baked potato with all of the fixings. Usually when you go out to dinner you can spend $8 on an appetizer of potato skins or something of the sort and not get as many as 8 for $12-14. They are an affordable way to eat good food on a budget.
The only thing that I do not like about these baked potatoes is that unless you put them in the oven, you will have to scrape off the remaining potato off of the skin.
I like how these are very quick and easy to make. Just make sure you watch the potato in the microwave and be careful when you bite into them because they are very hot.
I think that for the amount of money you pay, the amount of potatoes you get, and how creamy, delicious and wonderful they are that the Omaha Steaks Stuffed Baked potatoes get 4 stars.
