I have to see if there's another location by me. The one we used to go to, on Biscayne Boulevard, closed.

Hi virginia, I do hope you go with your family to Orlando, I don't know if there is one of these restaurants there but you could go to the wonderful Mexican restaurant in Epcot if the desire overtakes you and there aren't any On The BOrders up there..
Thanks once again for the visit and kind words

Yup, you learn something everyday...I did have a feeling though that the food served here was more Tex/mex than genuine Mexican but they bill it as Mexican....
Thanks Rex for stopping by and for your input

However I have to go to restaurant that do Mexican food as well as American. Just can't seem to get Len to be tempted. I just might have to go for that gift card next time I redeem.
Hugs,
Susie.

They've come a long long way. Used to be we only went there for the Margaritas---now their food is definitely above par.

at the thought of the spicy chicken and the stuffed jalapenos - although at the same time I can feel the start of a bit of heartburn. The restaurant sounds like a good place to go. I have never seen one around here. I am thinking of going to Disneyworld with Terry and family in June - so maybe we can find it. As always, you write a great review.

On the Border is TexMex, which isn't really the same thing as Mexican. Of course, don't tell anyone in Texas I said that, because I fooloshly provided a forwarding address when I moved out of the Lone Star state....
FWIW, the people who started the chain are from a fine old-world Hispanic family, the Brinkers. You may recognize Mrs. Brinker's name as the CEO and founder(?) of the Susan G. Komen foundation, named in honor of her late friend.
