I agree with Suzer One A Day WeightSmart (Reply to this comment)

After only two days of taking this vitamin, I personally decided to come online to find out,"if their were anyone else experiencing what I experienced." I am glad to know that I am not alone! After taking this vitamin "with food", I immediately became sick to my stomach. I didn't have nightmares because, I received no sleep. This morning I thought, well maybe I'll try it again in effort for my system to adjust, but about 15 minutes after taking the vitamin, I became nausea. So, I suppose everybody bodies are different. I will be discontinuing my usage of this vitamin.

Sorry I missed your comment earlier Sandy. I'm sure you are probably finished taking this product at this point (9 months later). I'd be interested to find out what finally happened-were you okay with the pill, did you lose weight, do you recommend it to others? You may want to review it yourself.

Take care.

just try it (Reply to this comment)

Well i don't know if the pill really work i just started yesterday. I had the pill last night, this morning i felt really hungry all of the sudden, usually i am never hungry in the morning. So i got lot of food to eat thinking it will make me full. After eating and drinking the pill i am still very, very hungry. So i feel scared and log online to see if there is any side effect to this pill that is making me feel this way and that is how i found your review.

Glad if it helped you Kathy. But I'm guessing that the ingredient in this product that gave me nightmares, might be different than the one in the patch for you. If so, it might be worth trying. But, of course up to you!

come across your review. I was trying to remember the name of the vitamin for weight loss and saw yours and now after reading it, I am too afraid to try it as smoking patches gives me nightmares or as they say "vivid dreams".

Thanks for doing all that research.

Interesting! Guess everyone is just different. Only a handful of meds over the years impacted me that way. Don't understand why a vitamin would!
Thanks for reading/commenting.

nightmares (Reply to this comment)
by beckytcy
It's funny that you mention nightmares in relation to this product because I've had very vivid dreams for the past few nights when I haven't taken this vitamin. I ran out, and I just got to the drugstore today to revamp my supply. I don't think this product has affected my sleep at all, but I've had a very stressful autumn, so I wouldn't point to this vitamin as the culprit anyway.

Interesting to think about...

One A Day Weight Smart....It Works for Me! (Reply to this comment)
by aubie3000
I have been taking these little green tablets for about 3 weeks and can really difference in my
energy level. I did notice, too, that if taken on an empty stomach it will cause a queasy feeling. I
am not really up to date on Green Tea Extract information but from what I have learned is that it does help with your metabolism. I would recommend it to anyone...provided they check with their Doctor first.( as recommended for any weight loss program) I have lost about eight pounds. I am also walking and going to water aerobics. I am fifty five and have never felt better and I think this product is a big reason why...
Pros...Ephedra Free.... plus vitamins you need to take any way
Cons...None

I'm seeing the weight loss results. I'm a size 8 now and heading towards a 6 I think. The dreams have tapered off a little, but I'm almost afraid to say that. I'm almost ready to go to sleep now.

Your dreams sound fascinating. Maybe you should write them down and turn them into a children's book or the like!

Take care. It seems to work for most people for weightloss, but then Phen Fen hardly did anything for me, so everyone is different.

I'm absolutly not teasing. So far I've had many more entertaining dreams... I forgot to mention in my last message aboutthe castle.. there was also a purple dragon that lived in it. Go figure. Since then I've dreamt about being a fish.. about falling for someone else on my wedding day.. and the person and situations involved were so redicuoous they're unbelievable (and no, I don't have a wedding planned), there was one dream where the 'bad guys' were coming after me with nerf balls and water guns.. I could go on and on! I talked to a pharmacist today about it, and she said that there's a very smal lchance that the chromium in there could affect people who're very sensitive to it. FOr the last 3 days Iv'e decided to try one every other day and see what that does. Other than that, I've found myself not wanting to snack as much. But no weight loss.. for the last 2 weeks I've been visiting family and their eating habits are enough to give anyone a heart attack! But I'll be back to my own food in 3 days.. so hopefully...

Hope that your dreams have gotten less upsetting and more entertaining. I've been waking up laughing some mornings.. mine are that funny!

Why not? I'm sure it is great for the majority of people. You've done so well with quitting smoking, I bet you'll be as successful with this.

Thanks very much Gary. Glad it all worked out for you for the most part. I did the Phen Fen thing for 10 months (the doctor who prescribed it weighted 410).

I am so fortunate that at this point anyway, I have no indications of heart problems. Others were a lot less fortunate.

Hi Suzer,
Nice review. The warnings are very inportant.
Many moons ago, I tried a diet with phen phen. Lost 14 lbs in just a couple weeks w/o changing my eating habits in a greaT WAY. oNLY CHANGE WAS A FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH EVERY NIGHT, ALONG WITH FRIES AND A LARGE SUNDAE. i CHANGED HAMBERGER FOR CHICKEN. I guess I probably didnīt snack as much, but Iīm not sure. Its no secret that I have chronic depression. Well, as nice as the weight loss was, I went over 2 months w/o a decent nights sleep. I finally broke down and went to my doctor and literaly broke down. It turned out to be a blessing. The doctor referred me to a psychiatrist and I finally started dealing with my problems.
Gained the weight back, too.
Thanks for the info.
An excellent review.

Re: Too bad about the nightmares (Reply to this comment)
by Suzer
Never said I wasn't vain! The only other time I had nightmares from a medication was many, many years ago with muscle relaxants (just two of the prescribed drugs over many years following a whiplash injury). So, this is very unusual for me, but yeah I want to look good, and don't want to waste the money either!

Congratulations on your exercise and weightloss success
I think it is so funny that you would live with the nightmares to get off a few more pounds..I think I'd do the same! Vanity thy name is woman..LOL

BTW, I used to get nightmares when i took the tylenal PM...dont know how that is connected but when I stopped taking it the nightmares stopped.

Thanks for the info

If they didn't work for you, why waste the money? I took Phen Fen for ten months and lost a whole 15 pounds, while others lost a huge amount. Not everything will work for everyone. Of course Phen Fen is supposed to be very dangerous.

Great job!

chromium (Reply to this comment)
by jankp
You need to balance it with copper in your diet. Offhand I think soy products and avocados have quite a bit. Try increasing those in your diet and whatever is a good source of copper and your nightmares may disappear,

You're not teasing me?

Anyway, I wouldn't mind entertaining fun dreams. But, I am not enjoying scary, upsetting nightmares every night.

Glad this helped give you insight, and good luck with your weight loss.

the strange dream I had the other night about a plane that flies like a helicopter that was circling around a haunted castle that is inhabited by a talking dog last night? And no, I'm NOT making that up! I just started taking this last week, and over the last 3 nights I've had some REALLY bizarre dreams! I guess I'm going to do like you and take it a little while longer.. if the dreams continue though, I may have to stop... pity.. they're really REALY entertaining! :)

Great review!!

As always, you have written a beautifully detailed and interesting review. Congrats on the weight loss. But your picture already makes you look like a little bit of a thing! I do take chromium, and I have not had the nightmares from it. But you gave me an education on the other side effects. Thank You!

My best,
Deborah~
