One Minute Manicure * Original * 12-oz

I received a bottle of One Minute Manicure Spa Treatment Original as part of mystery gift for purchasing a bunch of things on a beauty supply store website. This exfoliating and hydrating treatment is very oily and a bit rough but I like it. My hands feel softer after and, once I pat off the oils, smoother.

About the Product

Shake until well blended before each use. Apply small amount to hands and gently massage for One Minute concentrating on problem skin and nail bed area. Rinse well and pat dry. Finish by rubbing hands and fingers to stimulate essential oils. Apply onto feet or body and follow similar routine.

This product comes in three sizes, 30 ounce, 13 ounce and a 3 ounce bottle. This listing says 12 ounces but they don't sell this in that size. I have the 13 ounce jar. The jar is clear plastic with a black screw off lid. The smaller size is a small plastic bottle with a flip open cap. The product is very light yellow and has large grains in it. It settles so that half is the oil and half is the grains. You have to shake it or stir it before using it. The original scent is minty. It is refreshing and not overwhelming.

My Use

I have used hand exfoliators for a long time. I think they help keep the skin on my hands youthful looking and smooth.  One Minute Manicure Spa Treatment is a minty smelling product full of various oils and large grains. The jar needs to be stirred or shaken to mix the two.

I use a small scoop but you can just reach in and take about a quarter sized dollop out. On damp hands, I rub the mixture on my hands especially around my nails and cuticles. I don't rub the mixture on my skin for a full minute, more like 30 seconds. I then rinse.

My hands are very oily after I rinse them but patting them dry with a towel removes the excess oil and leaves my hands very, very soft and hydrated. The dead skin is gone and my hands look more youthful and smooth.

This scrub is not good for very sensitive skin because it isn't sugar based therefore it doesn't melt away. The grains stay viable and scrubby until you stop rubbing them on your skin. I have never had issues with sensitivity or any sort of scratching or irritation when using this product but my hands are not especially sensitive.

The scent lingers very subtly after my hands are dried off. I can barely smell it. My hands stay soft and smooth for hours. Sometimes I will use this treatment before bed then apply a thick hand cream. My hands are ultra soft in the morning, nicely plumped and very smooth.

I have used One Minute Manicure Spa Treatment on my feet and elbows and anywhere that I have dryness. It works very well as a foot exfoliator. I just have to be careful to rinse well and pat my feet dry before I walk so I don't slip.

This is a spa product and isn't widely available but, if you can find it, it's worth the cost. You don't need much and a little goes a long way.

You can purchase One Minute Manicure Spa Treatment in the original scent and various other scents online at a number of salon and spa type websites as well as resellers like Amazon. I have seen this on eBay as well. I don't know where it is sold offline but a nail salon probably carries the brand. The price varies depending on the size of the jar or bottle and where you buy it. I saw the 13 ounce jar on Amazon for $20.00. It's less pricey per ounce if you buy the larger jar or buy more than one jar at a time.

I like One Minute Manicure Spa Treatment and will continue to use it until it is gone. If I can find it online, I will buy more. It is very effective at exfoliating my hands (and feet) and leaving them hydrated and very smooth. It is oily and does need to be mixed first but most of these types of products do. I give this one 4 stars.
