Pros: Easier than the manual kind and takes up less space than an electric opener.
Cons: Tricky to use at first and difficult to open battery compartment.
The Bottom Line: Good product once you've figured out how to use it.

| clpurser's Full Review: One Touch Can Opener |
My mother raved about this can opener so I decided to get one of my own. After all, my electric can opener was broken and my manual one killed my wrists. I found one on sale at Walgreens for $19.99. A bit pricey for a can opener, but if my mother loved it, it must be good.
I got the product home and was excited to give it a try. That's when the trouble started. It took me 10 minutes to get the battery compartment open so I could install the batteries. Then once I finally mastered this step, I placed the can opener on a regular-size green bean can. I had difficulty getting the can opener positioned just right so the item could work. Then once it started to work, it jammed and quit halfway around the can. It was jammed so badly, that it took another 5 minutes to detach the can opener from the now oozing can of beans. I was afraid I was going to break the can opener getting it off.
Perhaps I had installed some old batteries because once I replaced them, the can opener worked like a dream. I've opened at least a dozen cans since then without any more trouble. After you place the can opener on the can, press the button on top until the unit starts to cut. This may take several seconds to start and about 20 more seconds to go all the way around the can. Be careful when you're finished as the edges of the can itself are very sharp.
Even though the unit was difficult to use at first, I'm very happy I purchased it and my wrists are thankful that they don't have to work so hard.
