Pros: Price: Only $20 (but you get what you pay for.)
Cons: Cons: Short battery life and all the problems that ensue as a result!
The Bottom Line: I'll never purchase another one and I tell my friends to think twice before they do.

| bartonfamily's Full Review: One Touch Can Opener |
I am stopping my lunch cooking to write this review because I am so mad and need to do this for therapy. I purchased the One Touch at Bed, Bath & Beyond after reading good reviews. I liked it okay - it runs slowly - but that's no big deal. But after owning this thing for a year, I can say, quite honestly, that I have never had anything in my kitchen more useless. No matter what brand of battery I use, including good rechargeables, they don't last long. And that's a huge problem becase when the battery dies, in the middle of opening the can, it freezes up. The lock-on mechanism will NOT let go of the can! It is an incredible struggle to do so. I just spent the past ten minutes, using all my strength to pull the can away from the One Touch, but to no avail. At least it died at the beginning of opening the can and not the middle, as it has done in the past. That's when it's a splattery, horrible mess trying to get the One Touch off the can. And the One Touch has to come off the can in order to change the batteries. If only the makers had put the battery compartment on TOP of the One Touch so that when it dies, one could just change the batteries and then resume opening, it wouldn't be so bad.
