Pros: Kills the Pain, Cheaper
I have a disease and some of my teeth are decaying, so I use my share of topical pain relievers, I started using Anbesol, thinking it was the best. I was buying a tube a week and when I bought the last anbesol on the rack, I assumed they would have more in stock.
I went back several days later and they had no Anbesol in stock at all. So I tried Orajel Maximum strength, I didn't know it at the time, but Orajel has the same active ingredients as Anbesol 20% Benzocaine. The cost was a big difference Anbesol tube was $7.65 and Orajel was $6.25.
The Orajel was the same size, same active ingredient, cheaper and tasted better.
I have waited for almost a year and in a few months I will be able to have the surgery needed to fix my teeth. I would not have made it without Orajel, it completely numbed my gum and tooth, it was more affordable.
The lesson I learned when buying over the counter medicines is to check the active ingredients, the popular name brands are more expensive in price only, they do not offer stronger ingredients in most cases. Check it out!
