Christine,
It's so icy-blue that it's barely blue at all. Maybe a pure white one would be better for you, though!

I don't (Reply to this comment)

know about the blue color. My skin is olive toned and I just don't know how blue would look on me. I love the idea of brightening up my face though.

I was one of those that wore blue eye shadows, I had assumed since my eyes are blue that this was the shade for me.
I hardly ever wear blue anymore, but like this one.

Sounds.. (Reply to this comment)

...like you have been having fun!
Just for the record, icy pink looks really nice all around the eye too - if you have light skin, that is. I am not sure how that looks on dark skin yet.
But it has to be ICY pink. Not light pink.
Just got the most fantastic eyeshadow I have ever seen (next to STAGELIGHT). Stumbled upon it and got it for a good price.
ORLANE Cobalt Blue duo. That has an icy silver blue in it. Looks really awesome with the dark blue accent. Absolutely GORGEOUS- and I can not STAND blue eyeshadow.
I almost wish I had never discovered this stuff. It is so hard to find and truly the nicest I have ever seen (next to STAGELIGHT). Stays on a long time too.
Great review!

Melissa,
The color shown in the picture on Epinions is way too bright. The color is very pale. I also have had a problem with blue (I was around in the 70's when bright blue eyeshadow was worn by the adults around me, LOL) - but this is different. I think you'd like it!

I do not know how to apply eye liner and have no clue how it would look on me, want to know though.
I might get brave and go to a counter and have someone show me, since there is no lanolin this is safe. I had no idea there is an Origins store too at the mall, will look around next month when I go.
Great review

Hey, Melissa! Please let me know if you find a sample!
Stacey, I'd always skimmed over these products, thinking they'd never work for me.
I'm SO glad you reviewed this, so I can take a second look at them.
As you mentioned, I tried a "stark-er, whiter" one, years ago, though I can't remember the brand.
This may be soft enough to make it work for me!
Thanks!

As tempting as..... (Reply to this comment)

....this Origins Eye Brightening Color Stick seems, I just can't get past the iceblue color. For years, that's been a big eyeshadow color no-no (even though I know it's more stylish now) and it's hard for me to forget.
BUT.....if it makes you less tired, then it sounds worth a shot. I'll keep my eye out for a sample online :-)
Great review!

I fixed the italics! You caught the review before I had a chance to fix it! LOL!
I had white eyeliner once (L'Oreal brand) and it was too stark. I like the pale color of my new Origins product - it's not as stark. White and pale eye liners are something that's sort of new to me anyway!
Thanks for the comment!
