| Dinaker's Full Review: Origins Never A Dull Moment |
Origins has been coming out with so many great products lately, it's hard to keep up with them.
Like so many other lucky people, I have sensitive skin. I have really had a lot of luck with the Origins line cleansing products. I always like a nice fresh face before bed and before I go out in the morning!
I received a gift basket for Christmas a couple of years ago with the Origins products. One of the products included the Never A Dull Moment. Origins has a neat way of putting labels on their products and this is just one of the many names! I always cringe at the thought of a new facial product. I can blink and my face will break out! I am very picky when it comes to my facial skin because it is so sensitive to the point I have to watch out what type of laundry detergent I use etc. Anything with a strong perfume scent, watch out! In the past, I had come to the point that regular old water and a washcloth was it for my face.
I opened the jar of the Never a Dull Moment and it had a sort of fruit scent, like apricot and honey. I touched it and it was thick with a grainy feel. I always test something on the top of my had to smell and feel before I place it on my face.
I am a firm believer of washing with warm/hot water to open my pours. I do a nice rinse first with the water and then I use my cleanser, in this case my exfoliant. I take my middle and ring fingers on my right hand and take about a size smaller than a dime and start massaging my forehead. I use both hands in small massaging circles and work down my temples to my cheek bones and nose and go above my lip between my nose and follow it around to my chin. I also work my way down my neck. It is such a relaxing way to exfoliate your skin. After I'm done massaging my skin for about 3 minutes, I then take a soft washcloth and start on my forehead and work my way around my face in the same pattern and take off any loose of dry areas I might have missed! Then I rinsed throughly with cold water to close up those pours! What a wonderful and fresh feeling as I dry off my face and neck. It is really soft and smooth. It literally feels like it had taken those aged, dry areas and made them so smooth. It was like I had just polished my face and neck! I had no irritation, burning or blotches. It wasn't hard to rinse off and doesn't leave any residue!
It comes in a clear plastic jar with a white top about 4.4oz. It has fruit enzymes,it also has mango and apricot seeds crushed up in there somewhere. Now, it does have the gritty, sand like feel of course to exfoliate your skin, so please be careful when using this around the eye area. I have gotten it in my eye and it was quite painful. I stay above my eyebrows and below my eyebone area. When I do rinse, I make sure my eyes are closed tightly until I don't feel the gritty feel anymore! I also carefully do the bridge of my nose, you can't forget those little areas too!
I really recommend this product. I use it once or twice a week, it depends on what kind of week I've had and if I feel like I need to be pampered! I'm sure if used 4 or 5 times a week that would be fine! It is great for sensitive skin, I have no problems! I love the softness. I can feel how soft my skin is the minute I rinse it off!
So follow your regular beauty cleansing regimine, and throw Never a Dull Moment in there too, you'll notice a difference! By the way, I believe I paid $22 for it and use it sparingly..... a little goes a long way! It will last you for months at a time! Have fun and enjoy!!!!
