First, I must confess I absolutely love Origins products because of the natural ingredients they use and because the company stands by their products.

Of course, like most women, I fall prey to glossy advertisements. This pretty in pink, moisturizer with Mimosa, Argan leaf and Green algae "promises to rebuild collagen, repair visible lines and improve skin texture and tone. Skin looks and feels measurably younger from day one."
 
Here we go, again, I fell for the glossy advert, and of course, the sales person's pitch at the Origins shop. $45 for a 1.7 oz jar.

Personal Experience

The instructions say it must be applied morning and night, after washing the face.

First impressions are lovely! I like the buttery and creamy consistency, and it smells so pretty!  The product spreads very easily, and it does not feel greasy.  The skin feels very nourished, cared for, and glowing! 

Honestly, though, how can a product cause your skin to look and feel "measurably younger" from day one?  I don't think there is a topical potion out there that can truly get rid of wrinkles and lines, other than Botox, fillers, etc.  Collagen cannot be rebuilt with mere topical potions, many articles state, as well as my dermatologist.   But, because, we still must protect our skin and moisturize it.

I used Origins Starting Over faithfully twice a day, until it was gone, but my relationship was not enduring; I moved on to another brand and product, whose potion is a little bit more aggressive at treating the typical complaints we women have.

Origins Starting Over did improve my skin's tone, however, and looked brighter. I think the product has "toning" properties because my pores appeared smaller.  As far as getting rid of my fine lines (Ok, wrinkles), well, they are still there.

Conclusion

This product does not cause skin to break out; a big plus in my book!

This cream feels lovely when applied to the skin, and the fragrance is so soothing, that I actually enjoyed my daily beauty ritual. This product is pretty good for making your skin even-toned, glowy, and not too shiny, but sadly, the little wrinkles are still there!

Buy Origins Starting Over because you want a product that does not harm your skin, perfectly moisturizes it, makes it glow, and tones it.  This moisturizer smells pretty, and has a calming fragrance, but don't think that it will smooth out wrinkles.  It won't!
