Pros: Ends ant and roach problems usually for at least 30 days
Cons: not always available; purchase better sprayer for ease of use, this one leaks
The Bottom Line: Since this product actually works as it says it does I definitely recommend it's use to others for do-it-yourself pest control.

| wendy3rd's Full Review: Ortho Home Defense Indoor & Outdoor Insect Killer ... |
We live in south Alabama and fire ants and roaches are a definite problem.
This particular bug killer works quite well. From time to time a brave roach will find it's way in my house and I politely end it's existence and then head for my sprayer. I have tried several kinds of bug killers but this one seems to seek and destroy the pests. That is what I want in a bug killer!!
The odor is not noxious as a lot of chemical sprays are but I still suggest airing out where you spray. My husband purchased a chemical sprayer from an agriculture store where farmers would buy their sprayers so I stopped getting so aggravated with the sprayer on this one.
Whenever I spray for roaches, (although I only see one you know there has to be more where he/she came from) the next day there is always at least one or two on their back. I don't know how they get that way but I know they don't get back on their feet and move after getting in to this spray!
I have noticed that it only takes a fine spray of this in the cracks around the water pipes under your sinks and the same along your baseboards about once a month and no more pests!
