| gclanyc's Full Review: Outback Steakhouse |
The outback steakhouse was a very pleasant surprise for me. I am very wary of steak at a cheaper prise than your big name steakhouses. I am a worrier about quality. The outback has somehow figured out a way to give you a quality steak at a cheap price. Along with this steak, they give you two side dishes and a salad. If this doesn't seem like enough food, they have an extensive list of appetizers to choose from. I highly recommend the trademark Bloomin Onion. It is a bit on the spicy side but delishious and more than enough for two people. The service is friendly and efficient. I found the wait staff to be knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive.
I went traditional and had the Filet, which was cooked to order and too much for me to finish. The mashed potatoes were as good as home made. For non steak eaters, they have an extensive menu which includes chicken dishes as well as pasta. If there is room for dessert, fear not That will definitely put you over the top.
Thirsty, Have an oversized beer in a frosty mug.
