| NCLJB's Full Review: Outback Steakhouse |
Outback Steakhouse has been one of my favorite restaurants for over ten years. I recently moved from Florida to North Carolina, and was pleased to find the restaurant in my new home town. At first, I wasn't sure if the menu, and quality of food would be the same. It was a pleasure to find out that everything was basically the same. Steak is not one of my favorite dining choices, but there is plenty of variety for the non-beef eater. My personal favorites are the Alice Springs chicken, the shrimp pasta and the shrimp and chicken pasta. The fresh vegetables are always a nice addition to your meal, and the Caesar salad is also a good choice. If you like wine, like I do, Outback has a wonderful selection of wines. The Australian Chardonnay is fresh and crisp. For those that prefer another poison, the Wallaby Darned is an excellent drink and of course the carry Fosters. The atmosphere has always been relaxed and enjoyable. The service has always been good, though a little slow on crowded nights. I recently discovered their take-out service, which I intend to try out soon. No matter where you live, I would recommend Outback Steakhouse as a good place to eat.
