Your information regarding OutBack was overall great but lighten up! We don't need all those cutesy phrases ie; pre-meal noshing? What's that?

Outback's not the best steakhouse I've been to (that might be Murray's in Minneapolis, or Frank's in NYC) but they do, as you write, do it pretty well. They generally satisfy the table. They do need to improve their beer list though. cheers.

since I have been to an Outback, but we never have had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. I am sorry to hear that they are downsizing their meals, as my husband and I could share a meal and have plenty to eat.(Quite possibly folks like us are one reason they are downsizing. :)Sunny

why you eat all those nutritional bars! To offset what you eat at the Outback! We have one nearby. I'm always so tempted to eat the wrong things there-appetizers and desert! Good thing I have a great metabolism. ko

is that I love the cheese fries appetizer! Every time I go I have to get it and then I am often to full to finish my fabulous steak. And reheating an Outback steak in the microwave is like touching up the Mona Lisa with watercolors.

I enjoyed this review very much. I wish I could eat there every night myself, but alas, this is not a perfect world. Whenever I ask for extra spices, or something extra, it has worked about 80% of the time for me as well. Thanks for a great review.

I agree with you. The Outback only does a few things, but they do them well. I like the steamed veggies, although somedays they are a little soggier than others. Their baked potatoes are wonderful, especially with the horseradish sauce. And I LOVE the caramel apples, but I wish they offered them for dessert, since they are not really a side dish in my mind.

I've only eaten at our local outback once and that was more than enough. It's a theme resteraunt, which more than ruins it IMHO. The food there was nothing special, and I'm sure you'd be best served by attending a local place instead.
