Wow, I just ate at one of America's finest steak restaurants - Outback Steakhouse. I obviously had steak and it was one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. It was juicy at every bite and I just wanted to shout out "WOW". Now Outback includes other types of food that include Seafood and chicken. The two friends who came with me joined me in the grilled shrimp Appetizer . Can you say "WOW" again. The shrimp were amazing. One of my friends had the Rib and Chicken combo and said that the ribs "were so succulent that the meet just falls off the bone upon touch". The ribs definitely looked good but I don't eat pork, so I couldn't testify to that. My other friend had the grilled chicken and said that the chicken was "perfectly seasoned". I think when a restaurant pleases three out of three discerning customers, it has done something Right.
In addition to good food, the staff is wonderful. Each staff member was really nice and attended to our every request with a smile.
The final point to be made is that while it is somewhat pricey for a meal (about $15-25) per person, it is much cheaper than other steak houses like Mortens, whose food isn't as good but only provides a stuffier ambiance. If you want pomp and circumstance go to Mortens but if you want great food at reasonable prices go to Outback Steakhouse.
