Pros: Very easy to handle, and quick to clean.
Cons: None that I have found.
The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for an easy to use quality garlic press with ease of use and comfort then this is the press for you.

I recently purchased this garlic press from Linens and Things at about $14. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but I found out that it was money well spent. The great thing about it is the comfort of the handles. My hands have a hard time holding on to small items at times and the cushioned handle press makes this a comfortable and easy tool to use. This would be especially good for anyone who has arthritis or problems with grasping smaller kitchen items.
Although I have heard that the plastic prongs have broken for some consumers, I have not experienced any problems. The holding chamber for the garlic is large and able to hold large pieces,and even a several small pieces at a time. With cleaning the OXO garlic press I have found it easy. You just pop the plastic plate back through the holes that the garlic presses through and remove what is left of the garlic clove, then rinse clean in the sink. There are not too many grooves and different parts that have to be cleaned so I have found that rinses with hot soapy water and air drying works great. I would highly recommend this garlic press to anyone who loves to add a lot of flavor with freshly pressed garlic to all of their cooking. Enjoy!
