Yeah... hah hah... I tried it once and then it took a while for me to make the effort and patience to "test" it again. Definitely a dud!

Because some people are just too clumsy, Ed. :)
Seriously, though, we have this one too, and it's on my list of kitchen implements to review that I've just had no motivation for. I agree that it's a dud. We've had much better luck with one of those rocking herb mincers... the kind with one or two blades and two handles. It's sharp as heck and saves my fingertips from the knives.

people just put their hard-earned money into a good chef's knife and learn how to use it? These gadgets may sound and look good but they never seem to work. Thanks for the information.

I saw that in previous review of yours so when I saw a bathrobe at Linen N Things I used the BBB coupon I had with no problem.
Great review on product I had not heard of.

Well, that's a shame (Reply to this comment)

Sorry this Oxo mincer was such a dud. It does seem like a great design. I often use rosemary while cooking, and like you, we grow ours as well. I would definitely buy this mincer just for the rosemary, if it did a good job. Oh well, I won't bother.
Thanks for the review!
