Yeah, delicate things often don't fare well around careless housemates, which I seem to have had many of. *sigh*

At Least it's Cute! (Reply to this comment)

Dear Heather:
I like the look of this tea kettle but the thought that it could possibly rust seems like a major negative. I live with someone whose kitchen antics mimic your energetic cook's description.
Eenie really is the only one who enjoys a formal afternoon tea - the others prefer espresso with a little twist of lime. Sniff... sniff... we're going to miss the little ones. Our windows have never been so clean.
Fabu Revu and thank you for joining in on the insanity!

It's a testament to their good ideas that we keep buying Oxo stuff despite all the things-falling-apart we've had from them. =}

What a shame. I've been thinking we should get a decent teakettle, but this doesn't sound like a good one--I'd probably end up leaving water to sit in there too, and we'd end up with a teakettle constructed of solid rust. ;D
I've had pretty good exerperiences with other Oxo Good Grips stuff, but then, I've only tried small kitchen utensils.
