Pros: Get last bits of dirt and oil
Cons: Stinks, I got more zits after I started using the pads
The Bottom Line: They're pretty easy to take with you, but I'm not sure if you'd want to.

| edgeman's Full Review: Oxy Balance Deep Pore Cleansing Pads |
I started using these pads hoping they would help with my skin. For a while it seemed like they were, but after a while it seemed like it was getting worse. So after I ran out of the pads, I never bought them again and my skin is doing much better.
The way you're supposed to use these pads is as follows...
1. Cleanse skin
2. Wipe face (and neck if desired) with a pad. The pads can be used anywhere on your body that needs them.
It's that simple. Some people have said that it left their skin dry and irritated. I never had that problem, but that's just me. If a rash occurs, like with almost any product, you should stop using it. You can use the pads 1-3 times a day, or you can ask a doctor for their advice about it.
The ingredients are...
Salicyclic Acid 2.0% w/v, alcohol (38.8% v/v), fragrance, isoceteth-20, polyolprepolymer-15, triethanolamine, trisodium, EDTA, and water.
These pads are for external use only and should be kept away from young children. But if you or a young kid manage to swallow the pad juice, call the poison control centre. You shouldn't leave the pad on your skin and try to keep the pads away from your eyes and mouth. If you get any pad juice in your eyes, just rinse the eye with some water.
Now for more about my experience with them. I purchased the Maximum strength pads because the normal ones did nothing for me. They come in a redish and white coloured package and had 55 pads inside. It said it had some new formula that let oxygen into my skin, I thought it sounded like a good idea and thought it would work. I stress the words "thought it would work".
I tried them out right away when I got home and noticed a sort of tingly feeling. It felt kinda' cool and when I looked and the pad there was a little bit of dirt and stuff on it, so I figured it was cool and would work. But the next day when I left the pad on for the whole day, I noticed something I didn't like. When I touched my face (to scratch my nose or something) it felt a lot more oily than usual because my skin is pretty normal. I figured it was because you're not supposed to rinse the contents of the pads off.
I have tried the Clearasil and the StayClear pads and neither of them did anything more than this except maybe get more dirt because those pads are thicker and don't bunch up when you wipe your face. I don't think I'll ever try using any type of pads again because they don't seem to work.
