| ksgatl's Full Review: Pioneer GEX-INNO1 XM Radio Receiver with Home Kit |
The Inno2 is a nice, compact unit, with satisfactory ergonomics, and fairly good reception. BUT the rechargeable battery is woefully inadequate. Direct XM listening at minimal volume, yields 4 - 5 hours before the unit shuts down, despite minimal scrolling and minimal display. Considering my old i River MP3 which utilizes a mirco hardrive is good for @ 10 hours before it needs a recharge, I was very disappointed with the Inno. Pioneer's 'tech support' consisted of telling me that 'that was an engineering decision'. Worthless. XM radio customer support is abominable. Shunted to three different reps who knew zero, and told me to contact Pioneer.
