Pros: reduces chances of osteoporosis. runs quietly. great way to lose weight.
Cons: speed goes up to 12 miles per hour. Inclination up to 15 degrees.
The reason I chose to write about treadmills is because I love working out. I have this treadmill at home. This treadmill is like my toy. I start my day with a 30-minute jog. I end my day with a 20-minute jog. Not that I was ever overweight, but it's still a lot of fun to use.
Here are the features of this treadmill: maintenance free; self-lubricant; incline up to 15 degrees; speed up to 12 miles an hour; shows speed (miles per hour), pace (at the rate you're going, how long it will take you to complete one mile), calories, and distance; has an emergency stop. It is also powered by a 2.3 continuous horsepower. The belt size is 18 inches by 54 inches. It is a very comfortable workout, since it has cushioning. So every step you make, the cushion absorbs the shock. And it has very long warranties on all its parts.
One thing that I don't like about it is the noise level. It runs too loud. My suggestion is while you are running listen to some music to block out the noise.
I purchased this treadmill, because I love exercise. If I don't start my day with a jog, then for the rest of the day, I feel that something is missing.
I've had this treadmill for about 1.5 years so far (I know that's not very long) and it still seems brand new to me. This is a powerful machine. It will last for years.
I narrowed down my choice to "Pacemaster Pro" and "True treadmills". Both are very good treadmills. I just thought that "True treadmills" wasn't for me. Something was telling me to go with Pacemaster Pro.
Of course, the more a treadmill costs the better it is. But the Pacemaster Pro is one of the best treadmills you can get for that price.
I have many machines at home but the treadmill is one of my favorites.
Treadmills are great machines. I suggest that you should buy a treadmill if you don't have one. Whether you're overweight, or you have nothing to do, or whether you just like it as much as me.
