Not perfect, but better (specially for the buck) than what else is available

Pros: The Form Factor (size, weight, screen etc)
Cons: No Built-in Wireless Network (not even BlueTooth)
Unable to get the e-mail to work.
The Bottom Line: For what a PDA is good for, this is perfect. You can pay more and get more, but I don't feel those extra features are worth the price difference.
The m505 is my second Palm PDA, so obviously I like Palm products. I got this (my wife bought it for my birthday) just after it had come out.
In short - I really like this PDA.
In more detail, I really like all that this model is capable of doing for the size, weight, price etc.
But I do wish that it had some Wireless networking capability, even BlueTooth would work - but I'd really prefer WiFi (802.11b/g).
Also, and I am sure this is my short coming, but I Have never been able to get the e-mail to work for me. I use Netscape/Mozilla on my PC (running Windows/Linux), but have not been able to get my e-mail to sync.
And finally, somehow I was able to screw up the sync with my PC completely. I have tried to get serial HotSync cradle, but nothing seems to work. So basically, for the last couple of years or so - I have not been able to back up anything that I have jotted down on my Palm.
Now the good - this is one of the slickest models I have seen. The screen is bright enough. I'm sure there are others with better color screens, but this one works very well for me.
The battery life is quite good. I probably put it on the cradle (to recharge) once a week.
Mine has 8 Mb of memory and I still have about 2 Mb free. I guess if I was saving some pix and such I would be needing a SD stick, but those are fairly inexpensive.
I guess at this point my third PDA will be something like the Tungsten C. The only problem at this point - it's too expensive (for the extra stuff that I'd be getting) and it is a bit larger.
