I got the m505 as a gift from one of my friends and I use it for everything. If you aren't clear about what PDA's can do then you are missing out on A LOT. I keep track of everything, even do my work on my palm.
The new m505 offers the great V series look as well as a colour screen. If also has an expansion slot which is not found on any other palm. If you liked the palm IIIc then you'll love the m505. It has all that the palm IIIC had and more.
The price is also quite reasonable, I believe my friend paid around $450 for it. The only real beef I have with this unit is that you cannot use it with accessories which were for the V series and that the screen should be brighter. If you turn the brightness on the screen all the way it can still be difficult to see.
