| hlbirk's Full Review: Pampered Chef Corn Cob Nobs |
Yes, I am a Pampered Chef Kitchen Consultant but I'm not trying to personally make a sale here. If you do have a Consultant of your very own and you don't have the Corn Cob Nobs, I would very highly suggest you make a phone call! If you don't have a Consultant you can feel free to contact me (e-mail address on profile page) or you can visit www.pamperedchef.com to find a Consultant in your area.
Corn Cob Nobs are unique in and of themselves. You insert them into an ear of corn before cooking, whether it's in boiling water, the microwave or even the grill! These come 8 to a pack, they're made of 100% nylon and they're a little bit "chunkier" than regular corn holders, which makes handling easier. Being 100% nylon means they won't break and they cool to the touch in seconds so you won't burn your fingers! That has to be my favorite feature but my second favorite has got to be the screw in design. Once you get the Corn Cob Nobs inserted in to the corn they're not going to pull out easily, you physically have to unscrew them.
You can purchase a bag of these little babies for $3.25 (or 150 points if you host a show!) They are also dishwasher safe or you can wash them in warm soapy water by hand. After eating that corn with all the butter on it you're probably going to need to wash them by hand so you can wash your own hands while you're there!
If you have small children you can also insert these into the sides of fruit to make handling a bit easier. My family has tried this when dipping fruit into chocolate and sprinkles and such.
The Corn Cob Nobs is a great product that can be added to any gift for almost any occasion. When someone Hosts a party with me these are generally on the Wish List somewhere! Works great right alongside the Corn Butterer (review coming soon!)
