I had wanted one of these for quite a while to speed up my nut chopping for my Holiday candy making.
It does chop nuts verry well and it does fold open for easy cleaning and the handle is comfortable to push down on.
But the bottom never stayed on well for me. i have had other, cheaper models that the base was a cup so you could take the copper part out of the cup and then easily dump the contents of the cup and return the copper. The bottom of this is more like a lid and you have to make sure you hold it well or it will come off when you try to lift the chopper off the counter.
It would also be nice if the handle could lock in a down position making it easier to store in a cupboard.
I will be giving mine away. it was to much of a pain to use.
This is not the quality you would expect from PC.
