My wife purchased this product through a Pampered Chef consultant and it was a staple of our pizza baking until, eek, it shattered. More on that in a minute.

The good:
I have to give it very good marks for cooking pizza to a nice consistency without burning it. And if some cheese did happen to drip off of the pizza and on to the plate, no serious scrubbing was required to remove it. No soap either. Just run hot water over it and most of the food will wash right off. Any stubborn particles of food can be easily scraped off with the plastic scraper provided with the plate. We seldom, if ever, used a non-stick spray either, so its not a requirement. We also used the plate to cook frozen biscuits, bread sticks and even French fries, all to perfection.

The bad:
The plate does well with items that cover most of the plate's surface area, but be careful with any items that cover only a small portion of the plate. It appears to cause the plate to expand unevenly. We baked a bread ring on it that only took up about 25% of the surface area and the thing cracked into several pieces--the plate, that is! It was quite disappointing. I'm not sure if the instructions warn against this since we lost them long ago, and the plate did last about 3 years before cracking up. I also recommend getting the metal serving handle because without it, the plate can be pretty difficult to removed from the oven without burning yourself.

Overall this is a good product that is reasonably priced (I think it was $32.00, but that's from memory). Just be careful about cooking smaller frozen objects on it.
