| jwpearce's Full Review: Pampered Chef Family-Size Quick Stir Pitcher 2275 |
The idea behind this pitcher is a good one. You add whatever you want to mix, then just lift the plunger handle, effectively mixing your beverages. The pitcher mixes very effectively, and it's nice that you can re-mix liquids that have separated with ease.
Pampered Chef sells two sizes of these pitchers. I wish I had purchased the smaller one. This one just has too much capacity for our needs. If you mix up one juice concentrate (1 can with 3 more cans of water), it only takes up about a third of the pitcher. But you still need to find room in your refrigerator (and your cupboards when empty) to store it.
To clean it effectively, you also must remove the piece that is inside the pour spout (where you set it to closed or open).
It is a high-quality item and does do what it was intended to do. But this one is just a little too large. I would definitely buy this item again, but choose the smaller version instead.
