Pampers recently came out with their newest baby wipes, called "Pampers One-Ups". They come out of a hole in the top of the box one at a time, each leading to the other...similar in fashion to tissues coming out of a tissue box. There is a flap to cover the top of the "next wipe" as it is sticking out of the top. This keeps it from drying out. Finally, the baby-wipes people have used a little common sense.

Before Pampers One-Ups, it was very challenging to pull individual wipes out of the box with one hand while holding Baby down with the other...regardless of the brand of wipes you were using. You would have to search for the edge of the wipe with your fingernail, trying to grasp it and pull it up - similar to trying to find the end on a roll of tape - and all the while, Baby is squirming on the changing table and trying to put his/her hand in the poop. Sure, some companies started serving their wipes in a round tub so that one wipe popped out of the top and all of the wipes were connected like a roll of paper-towels. But, in my experience, those brands made their wipes thin and dry. No thanks.

Pampers brand baby wipes are known for being moist and juicy...just the kind of wipes I need to clean off the kind of poops my son makes. They are thick and quilted with pictures of rocking horses, teddy bears, lions and fish. The original "Baby Fresh" scent has a soft, mild scent of baby powder, and as always, are alcohol free.

When you buy the "One-Ups" box, you get 80 wipes. They are 6.5 inches by 8.5 inches, in my opinion this is the perfect size. Once you buy the box of Pampers One-Ups, you will need to buy the right refills. Regular wipes refills won't work in this box, only the ones specifically labeled as "One-Ups" refills will work properly. Luckily, they are the same price as the regular refills. They can be purchased in packages of 160 wipes (the package is divided into two smaller, 80 count packages inside).

Being able to just reach over and grab one wipe at a time without struggling with the box, scratching at the top wipe and snapping your wrist trying to disconnect the next wipe...and all for the same price as the regular wipes...it's like a dream come true to me. I am glad someone in the "diapers and wipes" industry finally figured out what Kleenex has known all along.
